Between 250-300 people gathered at JBAA Sunday October 17 to celebrate Jack’s life with his family, friends, colleagues and team-mates.  The celebration included tributes and memories from family, as well as school, jazz and rugby friends.  Tom Woods did a great job as the master of ceremonies and Jimmy Armstrong and the Mile Zero Band provide a fitting mood for the celebration. Kudos to Brian Beglau and President Shane for sharing memories on behalf of the rugby fraternity. Shane did an excellent job of representing the club with his thoughtful remarks. He blended humour, earnestness and sincerity into a lovely tapestry about the importance of Jack, and June, to him personally as well as the Ebb Tide and larger rugby community.

Ebb Tide was well represented and well turned out in our #1’s. Well done to you all.
