Club Information

The Ebb Tide Rugby Football Club is the oldest continuously operating Over-40 rugby club in British Columbia, Canada. We have active players between the ages of 38 and 70's and active social members well into their 80's.  Social members and visitors are welcome to join us at our regular Thursday evening run-around.

Ebb Tide is a member of the Pacific Northwest Over 40's Rugby Union.

Players are eligible to play at 38 years.

Ebb Tide practices moved to Bullen Park as of Thursday August 29, 2013.  Our practice times remain the same – 5:30pm to 6:30pm.

Arrival for Practice

Our change-room is in the arena.  We enter the building via the hockey players’ entrance on the east side.  We have been assigned change-room #4, which is at the far end of the hallway.  An executive member will open the change-room at 5:00pm or shortly thereafter.

The change-room will not be locked during practice.  LEAVE ALL VALUABLES IN YOUR VEHICLE OR TAKE THEM WITH YOU TO THE PRACTICE FIELD.

We will exit the building for practice via the door that is around the corner from our change-room.

We suggest wearing running shoes to/from the field to save wear-and-tear on your cleats and to prevent a bottle-neck in the small hallway after practice.

Return from Practice

We return via the side door next to our change-room.  One person will open that door for the group.  He will enter via the hockey players’ entrance and take his boots off before proceeding down the hallway.

Everyone must take their boots off in the side-door hallway before returning to the change-room.
